HUGS Foundation Vision Statement

The HUGS Foundation's primary focus is on bringing the hope of Jesus Christ to the poorest individuals in Namibia. The emphasis is on furthering the educational process for the children and the adults.

Committed to building up the Body of Christ by coming alongside local churches and ministries in Namibia and around the world.

                              Namibia is a country approximately the
                              size of Texas and Florida combined. The                               majority of the country's land is part of the                     Namib Desert. Due to the inhospitable climate                the population is only a little under two million.          Namibia gained its independence from South Africa in      1990. The government has been stable since independence. The official language is English. Namibia like most countries in southern Africa struggles with overwhelming poverty and a high rate of HIV/AIDS infection.
